Come find lovely blooms popping up through the grasses and sprouting on the forest floor. LSNC invites families – especially mother figures! – and other individuals interested in learning more about our native spring wildflowers to join us for this event.
You will be treated to flower crafts and activities, and then get on the trails to see what is blooming! We'll learn basic plant identification skills using field guides as well as fascinating folklore surrounding some of these plants.
Finally, enjoy teatime with lemonade or iced tea and cookies, Yum!
Everyone is encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and also to enjoy our Critter House Open Hours (12pm-3pm).
