Access for All

Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and Leslie Science & Nature Center's Access for All initiatives reduces barriers to STEAM and nature-based education for families and classrooms across Southeast Michigan and beyond.

Level Options:

  • $52 covers the cost for a family of 4 to attend the Museum through our EBT Discount Program.
  • $78 covers the cost for a family of 6 to attend the Museum through our EBT Discount Program.
  • $250 funds a scholarship for an entire classroom to have a field trip to one of our sites!
  • $500 would bring two classrooms to our sites for a field trip; that's an entire school bus full of young learners!
  • $1,000 creates the ability for 10 AAHOM-LSNC staff/educators to receive training on serving young learners diagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through the Autism Alliance of Michigan.
  • $1,600 completely funds a "My Turn at the Museum" event, where we invite 100 young learners with ASD and their families to experience a sensory-friendly version of the Museum at no cost to them.
  • $2,500 covers a school-wide Family Fun Night for a Title 1 school, bringing our wildlife, hands-on table activities, and mobile planetarium to hundreds of students and their families.
